Coaches offer practical advice on improvements, backed up by relevant sections of Connect My Career to produce a CV that ensures individuals can get through the shortlisting stage to interview with prospective employers.
As Explore, plus 2x one-hour sessions with an expert Career Coach to provide staff with a detailed careers consultation.
Develop offers employees in-depth coaching to identify career options including seeking employment in their current vocational area, transferring skills to related roles or retraining for a new career. The careers consultation helps employees identify key strengths, identify and prioritise areas to improve (e.g. interview skills) while creating a skills script to analyse what they can offer prospective employers. Develop allows staff to identify key barriers to progression, how to overcome them and develop a detailed Careers Action plan setting out the steps to take to reach their job goals. Career coaches will also advise on the ways to use Connect My Career to reach career goals.

Progress provides employees with our most detailed level of careers intervention, including helping employees to develop detailed careers action plans, create a skills script and take part in other key activities such as full mock interviews with a Careers Coach. Strategies to overcome personal barriers can be covered in greater depth, along with psychological resilience training to assist job hunting.
Providing more sessions allows greater scope for detailed coaching and feedback on employees’ specific job applications. Progress allows employees to examine relevant personal career issues in greater depth and transform them into practical career and employability options. Careers Coaches also advise employees on how to get the most from the Connect My Career platform.
